Refund Policy
Welcome to HOME-SWEET.BE (hereinafter referred to as “the Site”), operated by SILK ROAD INVEST SRL.
Our priority is to provide you with a pleasant and secure shopping experience that complies with current laws and regulations in Belgium and Europe.
This policy outlines your rights and the terms and conditions governing returns, exchanges, and refunds.
1. Legal Consumer Rights
As a buyer, you are entitled to the legal rights of withdrawal and warranty provided for by the Belgian Economic Code and European directives.

You have a statutory 14-day right to cancel your order, without having to provide a reason, starting from the date you receive the product or the date the service contract is concluded. This period does not apply to orders for custom-designed products (custom texture/color selections).

These rights apply without prejudice to your statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects.
2. Return and Exchange Policy
2.1. Cancellation Period
You may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving your order.
To do so, you must notify us of your decision in writing at the following address: commandes@home-sweet.be.
2.2. Return Policy

Items must be returned in their original condition, complete, unused, undamaged, and with all accessories, packaging, and tags.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless there is an error on our part (defective product or incorrect shipment).

Le retour doit intervenir dans les 14 jours suivant la notification de rétractation. Montant des frais de retour : 150,00€ pour les produits de < 2m3. 200,00€ pour les produits > 2m3.
2.3. Non-Refundable Products
In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Economic Code, personalized or made-to-order products are neither eligible for return nor refund.
This applies in particular to:

Items that are not kept in standard stock and are manufactured specifically for your order.
⚠️ By placing an order for a product that is out of stock, the buyer expressly waives their legal right of withdrawal for those products. These are products that are not in stock and must be ordered from the supplier.
3. Refund

In the event of a valid return (excluding personalized products), we will refund the amount paid, as well as the shipping costs, within a maximum of 14 days after receiving the return.

The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed upon with the customer.
4. Warranty
All our products are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects in accordance with Belgian law.
In the event of a defect, please contact us so that we can arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund, as provided for by law.
5. Compliance with European Regulations

Our products comply with the essential health and safety requirements set forth in European regulations (EC Regulation No. 765/2008).

We also comply with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, which guarantees, among other things, your right of withdrawal (except in cases where the law provides otherwise, such as with personalized products).
